Housing Services

Short Term Accomodation

Karadi’s offers short-term accomodation for women and children experiencing family violence for a period of up to 10 weeks. During this time, we work with families to identify and achieve their goals.

Families will receive holistic and individualised social and emotional well-being support through case management and care coordination.  This may also include referrals to other programs and organisations, assistance with accessing health, community, and housing options, and capacity-building activities

Who can access this service?

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and their children.

Referral & Intake

Referrals for Karadi’s short-term accommodation options can be made through Housing Connect or through the Tasmanian Aboriginal Legal Service (TALS).
