Mens Programs

Men’s health and well-being

Karadi runs several groups dedicated to creating safe spaces for Aboriginal men within the local community and supporting men’s health and well-being.

Men’s Groups

The mens group program is a culturally safe space for sharing stories and engaging in activities and projects. Group participants receive a nutritious meal and, through an agreed upon calendar of activities, work on projects using wood or metal, create individual or group art pieces, attend events, or engage in community activities.

From time to time, the mens group also organise country day trips or overnight camps within Southern Tasmania. The activities that take place on these camps include fishing, bushwalking, and diving.
